You start off on a wrong premise. According to eBay's data, they have sold closer to 400 items since the middle of November, not less than 300 (your number). Also, as others have pointed out: eBay is only one venue where spare manufacturing equipment is being sold. Your number of items sold for over $1k is also wrong, it is dozens, not 14 as you state... People should draw their own conclusions about the misrepresented numbers.
Fascinating. Where are you getting your data? I pulled mine directly from the feedback section. I realize that they may/probably have had sales that do not yet have feedback, but am unaware of any other way to research a seller's history.

As arilea says, it's all non-conclusive. It wasn't worth my time to add up the numbers, but I was curious. Feel free to post how you came up with your numbers if you really think I made an error.

(note some things were left out, corrected it, bumped everything up a little)
So to play the game a bit. As of now, there are 6998 items in the list. I looked at the first 1282 items, and a bit more closely at the first 322. This was starting highest(#1) to lowest(at #1282).

The first 1282, add up to $27,925,217(estimate).
The first 322, add up to $23,425,217(exactly, if you drop the pennies)
There are 15 items above $199,999, 48 items above $49,999, 104 above $19,999, and 204 above $9,999.

So anytime in the future, you can look at the counts above some $value, and see how it's going.
Ammmm,, K providing they are not adding items as we speak.(check the dates?)

Here's the whole spread sheet, for you number crunchers (and you can check my calcs);

I am getting the data from eBay. The feedback section is useless to evaluate sales, because by design it only shows sales that have had feedback left for them. In average less than two-thirds of all eBay buyers do leave feedback, so these numbers are not representative of overall sales.

You have to look at items sold (close to 400) and even then, eBay more often than not (for various reasons) will not show all the items that were sold, but it gives you a much better indication of actual numbers.

I agree with AriLea, that only Elio Motors knows how much they sell and how well it goes for them. To sift through the available figures and come up with conclusions such as "sales are not going well," makes little sense as there are many variables. Selling of an entire production line or parts thereof is something that takes time and not much info about that could be gleaned from eBay information alone.

As AriLea shows: a lot of equipment is up for sales and many sales have been made. That's about as much as we can state without making assumptions.

Interesting number but it still does not tell us if ELIO is getting any real cash from the sales that will help fund production
So true, PS I somehow lost 13 units at 150,000 in the list above oops. Corrected it. (in a minute or two)

I estimate all other items in the list add up to less than 5mil.

Well, I must just be really clumsy at ebay. Please post a link or screenshot for the page that shows 400 items sold. I found the feedback info, and a page that showed the last 15 days of sold or completed listings, but nothing like what you describe.

EDIT: Just for grins, I did a search for eBay seller history tool. Per goofbid.com,

http://www.goofbid.com/ebay_seller_...+&gsl_submit=&gsl_submit.x=14&gsl_submit.y=17

automationrecovery1 has:

7070 Results Found

Items Sold: 375 Total Revenue: $49,670.80.

Items Not Sold: 19,373 Lost Revenue of $22,078,358.81.

Snipped: Anyway, it's the big ticket items that matter most.

My guess is COMAU (having global Relationships with most of the 'Players' in auto mfg.)
will have no trouble moving the big pieces. What's time consuming is the sales contracts
merging with 'new' & existing plant development, updating, expansion, etc. It's largely a
matter of timing.....

What are you trying to accomplish? Why on earth would inventory be lost revenue, by what logic?

As the screenshot below shows: automationrecovery1 has sold nearly 400 items on behalf of Elio Motors on this venue so far. This number does not include certain sales, such as multi-quantity listings. I wouldn't go by the "goofbid" numbers either, as the amount of items available for sale isn't even right: as of this afternoon, 6,998 listings are up for sale.

Just for grins: making up numbers to prove that something must be going wrong, serves no valid purpose unless trolling is the objective here...

So GM was in big trouble. We had to bail them out big time. The plant was shut down full of all this equipment worth many millions of dollars.
Why then was it not sold off right away, why if it is so valuable did it just sit there all this time. It would have been easy money for them to sell it off while it was still fresh.
Not hold my breath for any major cash flow from it.
