Only because most of what David posts is good stuff. The problem lies with my preconceived notion that the average ALL CAPS poster is an Elio hating troll.

All the communication cues we get from speaking to someone in person are lost in forum messaging, it's easy to dismiss someone as a troll or consider them stupid by their posting style. It's not right, no better than judging someone by color of skin, but it does happen.

I grew up with typing classes in school, and personal computers starting to become common. I realize many who are not much older than me did not, and struggle a bit (or a lot) on computers. I deal with one every day at work; he can do the job as well or better than me, but computers kick his butt.

BTW, it has nothing to do with dismissing anyone- when you cap everything, it's yelling no matter who/what. YOU save it FOR special connotation - disability causing the problem? use voice imput.
to me, there is no message inferred, no difficulty, no dismissal of opinion- just the person needing to YELL!
