I have been watching Elio develop from the start and risked $1000 to get a reservation below 4000. I Plan to garage my first Elio along side my restored 62 Ford 4x4 What attracted me was the possibility to have an early VIN on what may be as collectable as the 64.5 Mustang. That and America needs this automobile.

Dennis 5151, a warm and sunny welco0me from New Mexico, "Land of Enchantment" and miles of great year round roads for the Elio

Hello, all.
Another newbie to this forum...well, sorta. Been 'listening' and learning from time to time. My present occupation tells me to be very circumspect about what I share in a public forum and don't have clarity on an alternative.
I stumbled across Elio in early 2014. Went in $100 soon after. Upgraded to 5 recently. Saw P4 in PDX soon after. Totally awestruck with P5. Thought mine would be creamsickle like my first new car, a 1972 RX2. Having to think red hot which my wife is more reconciled with. My commute is 2.5 songs to work but I come home for lunch with my bride (of 30+ years). That's more miles than I really want to put on our 2009 Mazda 5.
I keep saying my Elio will be all stock...until I listen to stuff here! No investment in EM tho I strongly believe in the vehicle, the company, the present management, and the mission. Just conservative with other priorities at present.
Thankful for many blessings in my life and the opportunity to be a part of this whole venture at my comfort level is a wondrous thing.

Welcome DeltaMike from a neighbor to the north of you in WA; there are many others on here that are also from the PNW; along with every other state in the country, and a few from the UK.
Interesting comment; "My present occupation tells me to be very circumspect about what I share in a public forum and don't have clarity on an alternative."
Hmm what could that be? I'm going to guess IT Security, Rock Star or Politician :becky:

The site has been around for a few years now and is a wealth of knowledge from people that come from all walks of life.
If you want to find anything the Search Function can do some very extensive digging; if you can't find what you need, always feel free to ask any member.
So make your self comfortable and enjoy the journey. :thumb:

Thanx, Coss. I kinda feel like I know some of you from my days of just listening. And I gotta give a shout out to some here who also have the intestional fortitude to post to Elio Facebook countering the...hmmm...stuff that some folks persist in posting there. I'm afraid I'll offend by missing someone but John Painter comes to mind. Bless you for being right, reasoned, and respectful (imho).
