I saw this before I saw the Elio and considered building it. The cost to build it though would probably end up costing more that the $6,800 of the Elio.

Hi Jei, welcome from Oregon. That is some vehicle. LOL I have to admit I have never considered building a car or any other vehicle. If you explored this forum more you will see lots of 3 wheel vehicles going back, way back. There are lots of other things to explore on here as well. I hope this group will help you pass the time as we move along this adventure to Elio ownership. Next year in our Elios. :-) Z

Yes the build cost would add up fast. This thing would be a blast out on a track, however in traffic it would be horrifying! It sits so low you'd never see anything 'ecpt what's right in front of you and idiots not paying attention would constantly be changing lanes into your space.

I think that would be fun to drive. The Elio makes more sense as a daily commuter. This would be great for having fun.
