From the current list, the only extras that really interest me are the Auto trans, the color matched interior trim, the park pilot, and the tire pressure monitoring system.

I wonder how the park pilot will work without the infinite skyz screen? I'm not interested in that, so I probably wont have a touchpad. So will there be another build in screen for the park pilot, or what?
You can buy these things for under $50. They use a small panel with lights that move from both ends toward the center as you approach the barrier.

The description only mentions having an audio alert and "visual distance indicator". That very well could just be a beeping noise and a flashing notification light that uses bumper mounted sensors. In our Venza the park assist uses sensors in the front and rear bumpers. It has a backup camera too, but that is independent of the "beep" since the front sensors are always on and trigger in narrow drive throughs.

So I sent E-mail to 'accessories@eliomotors.com' (Thanks to the Previous Poster of this idea)
Good day, My Elio ALL IN Spot in line # 8327

I live in Alaska where the Cold Dark Winter season. My hopeful priority options.

1) Mirrors Heated & with Turn Blinker markers. I really dislike scrapping exterior mirrors (Or wiring Harness plug/ports for Doing it yourselfers)

2) Seats Heated

3) Fenders with Turn signal marker light

4) Accent LED lighting in various parts of exterior (Nose scoop, Under front wheel a-Arms, Under side Pan fuselage)

Thank you for the consideration.

I'm really hoping for a Heated Seat option. Since Lear is doing all the seats, and we know they do heated, there's really not any reason it can't become an option. But I imagine Elio needs to limit the amount of warehouse space they dedicate to options, and seats could be a pretty large logistics problem.

I think I remember them mentioning turn signal mirrors as a future option. I guess we'll see.

I don't see an upgraded driver's seat on the option list, nor do I see cruise control...both are options I want...and also, I thought the auto tranny was an $800 upgrade?

At the moment, everything is "subject to change". More options will be added to the configurator as time goes by, and price adjustments may occur depending on their cost calculations and supplier deals. For any option you would like to see, I would send them and email to accessories@eliomotors.com.

I want heated (leather?) seats and cruise control, and a cheaper automatic would be nice. The Aisin MC5 "automatic manual transmission" shouldn't be $1000 more than the BC5 manual transmission, so we have been speculating that they might be considering a more traditional torque-converter type (hence the higher price tag). Or at the very least, a double-clutch AMT instead of the single-clutch MC5. Who knows? We'll find out more as the Elio gets closer to production :)
