all tooooooo well understood
Of all the firearms I've purchase, I've only sold 1 than I can recall. I may have sold a 2nd one, but I don't remember what that may have been. I'm pretty sure it was one of my ARs (DPMS). It had a bull barrel and I couldn't put an A2 flash hider, compensator, or anything else if I wanted to, plus I already had 1 other AR at the time. I eventually replaced that DPMS with a Colt LE6920 because I heard they will no longer sell that model to "civilians," only to cops. So they changed it to the SP6930. Everything was the same except the name. I could love to get my hands on a BCM because their quality is superb (plus supporting a local WI company doesn't hurt either). :D

Ok, if we are doing everyday carry pics...
I've actually carried every one of these for a time. (the 410 shotgun pistol was the worst to lug around, didn't exactly fit in the pocket very well)
You seem to know quite a bit about antique firearms Bowers. This was my fathers. He purchased it used back in the early 50s for home defense. He never fired it, but I can't say the same. It's a 5 shot S&W .38. The latest date on the gun is 1889. Know anything about this one?

This is essentially the type of home protection I have, though the metal contains more chrome parts, the front half of the metal has been replaced by wood and a forward chrome sight, no fingering on the pistol grip, the magazine is longer, curved and holds 22 or 23 rounds, depending on the pressure you apply to the springs. I tend to use the lesser to increase the life of the spring.
