Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to be precisely. I am all new to the forum , curious about the feedback and enthusiasm regarding the Elio three-wheeler... and intrigued by the potential of three-wheelers in general.

Let me start out with a juicy question / poll first.

I am not normally a poll taker. My views are often too nuanced to easily map into the few bins normally provided. And on any given day, I might weigh one factor over others so that any definitive answer I give is automatically untrue or at least is a misrepresentation. But having said all of that, in regards to your poll: all of the above.

Add in:
- wanting to support the first Reg A+ funded company. Bonus that it had a great product idea.
- wanting to send a big middle finger to the status quo auto industry. Raise the battle flag! Remember Tucker!
- reducing my carbon footprint and that of others.
- helping to stem the tide of job losses to slave-wage countries.
- it is positioned to be at the exact opposite of the spectrum that the nanny-state is pushing for. A self-driving sub-$10K vehicle? Not for a long, long time.

I added "reduce carbon footprint" - that's a good one. Thanks for that.
Some of your suggestions are covered in the more generic flavored choices.
I try to establish what forum participants think of three-wheelers in general, not just the Elio. Put that between brackets.
If Elio can't make it, it doesn't necessarily mean that the enthusiasm for the whole idea of a three-wheeler will disappear, U.S. made or in some foreign country.

Wait until Arilea sees this post. He's been creating his own three-wheelers for quite some time, and his latest creation is shown in his avatar.

I know that this question must have passed a couple of times in different threads. Still, can't hurt to have a sort of overview that even Paul Elio will appreciate.... I assume.
C'mon guys, humor the kitty cat. Think of it as election time. Cast your vote (not just comment).

Motorcycles SUCK in the rain/snow & three digit heat. Old age does not help for future either... L.O.L.

Agreed, the Elio would be my "and vehicle" to go with my motorcycle for days when it is too cold, raining, or triple digit uncomfortable to ride. For me it is not about having three wheels but the design in general followed by price. I would be equally as interested with the same fuselage style design but with four outrigger wheels and low purchase price.

My current "and vehicle" is a 2008 Miata. Having the Elio in the driveway allows me to turn that into a hot rod project car that can be out of commission for long periods of time.

I added that in the votes.
