Anyway! I'm pleased to see you still here, and like ALWAYS, to ALL of my Elio brother's; you are STILL always welcome at my table here in Louisiana when you come down to pick up your new Elio's!

I will sadly miss the promises we made to have Zelio join us on that joyous day.

Music Man, I too miss Zelio and her comments. As you can tell from my signature I will honor her on my Elio. She sure took control of the forum and made it interesting, enjoyable, and respectful for so many of us. I'm never bashful when it comes to eating and when I get to pick up my Elio you can bet I will contact you about getting together for some of that great Cajun food.......Jim

Honestly, I never believed $6800 was going to be the final price. It was always "an estimated cost". I was expecting the final price to be between $8000-$9000, which I was gladly willing to pay. My $1000 All-In deposit was my commitment to buy the Elio, so for me to re-commit meant nothing and guarantees a lock-in price only $200 more that the estimated price. I'm thrilled. I have not seen anything that says we will lose our 50% rebate, and those of us who committed prior to 2014 are supposed to get an extra 35%. I have not seen mention of that extra rebate for a long time, but I know I saved that email just in case I need to remind Elio that it was offered. Yes, I too have grown weary of the multitude of delays, but it appears they are doing everything right and that takes time and there are always unexpected situations that they could not have anticipated. I'm still hanging in there like the rest of us. Go Elio. (#2114)

When starting a new company, no one knows what costs truly will be. (I have started a couple small business before. Nothing like this though) Then, if we involve the government, no one knows what requirements will be created. This thing is new from the belly button out all directions. new company, new car concept, new financing concepts, crowd funding did not even exist until now, new government loan program. SO, the rules are being written as we go. Elio is at the mercy of the government for the loan, which means rule #1 shall apply, (#1 is, "it does not have to make sense to be a rule") and I am sure your will see more changes come along. keep the faith ELIO'ERS the only chance they have of ever building this is if we stick with it. I personally am going to be buy more stock. I wonder what percentage of the money from stock purchase gets to car company?

Not sure I understand your question but I like your attitude. Minus administration fees the Elio Company got about $16 million from the IPO back in February. All stock bought since are from other investors. I am waiting for elio to open up more stock or get on the NYSE, just because I want my money to help the company more than other investors. But, still these 'other investors' who are trading back & forth are helping to keep the stock moving and active. If your feeling froggy, then leap. I just bought another junker so I need to lay low for a while.
