The consistent appearance of a high number of employee vehicles in the plant parking lot. I'll bet the folks running the plant are going to contact former employees from when GM was there to see if they'd like their old job back but with a new vehicle and new company signing the paychecks.

And with Doug Frick (?) running the assembly line they would have a familiar face in charge; he was there before it closed.

Another thing they need to consider are the transport vehicles from th LA factory to across the country to dealerships. Current transporters are designed around cars, not a 3-wheel vehicle like the Elio. Much narrower front wheels, etc.

There is another multi multi multi page thread that covers that from every angle that you could imagine.
EM already has a company contracted to do the transport and manning of the Retail Centers and Marshalling Centers; there are no dealerships.

Elio Specs:

Front track is 66.8" about the same as any compact car which do fit on normal car haulers, and they have developed a "sling" type plate that the rear wheel will sit on that has the same track. Places that do Oil changes will need to have these also to work for the "pit"

Or just pull in about 6 Feet over the Pit and leave the back wheel on the solid floor. Just don't pull forward when you're ready to leave, but you know it will happen eventually somewhere!!!
