Guess I didn't ealize just how big thiswas. We have a nice Comic-Con here in Dallas. But I guess it's nothing like this one. There is a story n thefront page of FoxNews.com about it ad how people were lining up early. Also saw posts on FaceBook from severa celebrities I follow from shows I watch stating the were on their way. Make me even more excited. Elio is not just a vendor, GeekNation is partnering with Elio. Very cool.

This location is for Thursday! The rest of the days 'may' be INSIDE...... a ticket required! Be EARLY.... or PAY!

Did a little more research on this version of Comic-Con.
They have changed their ticket sales such that tickets are daily, not multiple days. To attend more than one day, individuals have to buy multiple tickets. That means that it's not for just 150,000 people. It's some multiple of that. Maybe double more or less. Anyway, mostly not having tickets already, it's painful for Elio dedicated people who wanted to see it on a lark. But frankly it may be difficult to get to sit inside P4/P3 at this venue. But this is a super opportunity to gain interest with a population that has little or no prior exposure to the car and will be drawn to it for reasons somewhat offset from current ones. i.e, the car is very different and that itself should play very well at Comic-con.
Putting P3 and P4 into that convention is a super smart move.
I did notice something about P4. Such a huge number of people have sat in it so far, the door entry has visibly lost paint from people going into the back. Seeing that on camera is harder than in person.
My bet is that by Sunday, many more people will have sat in P4 than miles it's been driven.

I checked the Facebook page for location updates and last night they answered some questions and updated the posts saying that they will be outside in the same location all weekend. So it looks like everyone who is wiling to brave the crowds and traffic will get a shot at seeing the Elio without having to buy a ticket.
It looks like Elio has a lot going on at Comic-Con. We now know the P4 will be on display outside all weekend and the P3 is inside in the GeekNation booth. They also still plan on having celebrities ride in it and use it for interview so my guess is they will do that mostly in the evenings after 5:30.
Hopefully all this activity results in a lot of good press coverage for Elio Motors.
