lol, I know. I usually do try to have the positive vibe going but it's just hard lately with recent life occurrences. I don't mean to let that bleed over to the forums and the wonderful people here! And thank you Z

I would be stoked if they would hit Omaha or Kansas City. I live in Des Moines, so either of those would be an easy and do-able weekend road trip.

Any one out there have any first hand insight into how the San Diego show went this weekend? It was being touted as a huge event that was going to hopefully generate a lot of new interest for the Elio's that were there.

Was the interest as intense as we had hoped, and will Elio get a nice "bump" in numbers Monday, or will the news of the 25% reduction in the bonus amount, come September, cause the weekend results to have lost some of it's edge?

Just wondering.

Wow, msmith5150, I share your feelings about "nobody stoping," and just passing through. (But in a whole other way.)

In this little farming community that I live in, (maybe 250 souls), even the mail rarely stops. But then, I kinda like the peace and solitude, and never liked crowds and nosy or noisy folks.

Like the option to just pee off the porch too.

Life is good in the country. More stars at night and the joy of hearing the wild birds in the hedge row and the honking of geese as the pass over head on their way to the marshes.

Keep them cars and strangers "driving by." If there is something I need to see, I'll venture out from my tree. . . . . . When my NEW ELIO is born!

Hmmmm. . . . . . . I've always heard that women have "Power Surges." Or is that maybe referred to as "hot flashes" out there in your country???

Believe it or not, I never had either one. My mother had enough for both of us. LOL :-) Z

I'm going to aim my energy towards Des Moines. Might as well make it there since it is center of the state on I-80. :-) Z

Remember they are also going back to Denver after Detroit so that is 2 possible trips through Iowa. Think positive thoughts but don't try to dictate how it needs to happen. If it happens it will happen in a way that is best suited for Elio people traveling with the Elio. I knew I was going to get my reservation up to $1K. It never occurred to me I wouldn't be the one getting me there. I fully expected to spend 4 more months saving the money to get there. I also was not expecting to see the Elio this year and look what happened. All of a sudden they added a lot more events. So no promises but thank the Universe for an Iowa Elio stop and then let it go. The Universe will take it from there. :-) Z
