View attachment 2904 I was flipping through the pics on a local classic car auction the other day and had to take a double take on an old vw bug. It was missing the front fenders, as with other parts, but some of the lines looked familiar. Is the bug where Paul got some of his inspiration? Anyone else see a resemblance or am I just starting to see Elio's everywhere.

(saying this first word loudly) >> I << will come to Husker1's defense. It's got the narrow front end! It's got the front wheels sticking out! It's got the narrow-ish back end. It's there... sorta! Kinda! Lars I see where you're coming from.

Mascman, that is an awesome picture of that skinny VW. Nice!

This is exactly what I was dreaming about except I would have removed the front fenders and filled in the back wheel opening.

Thanks for sticking with me on this one Jeff! Maybe mid Westerners have a better eye for things.

You gear heads can see a Hot Rod in a rusty old Ford Model T sitting in Farmer Browns field. Creative minds at work I guess, I'm a turn key person, buy a car, get in, turn the key and away I go! Then again if it wasn't for you guys and your predecessors, we'd still be driving, box shaped cars, with 4 on the floor, no top for air conditioning and a crank handle on the front end! Thanks Guys.:D
