Hi, I'm not sure if this has been brought up or if it would be possible, but it would be nice to have a way to sort or search other members by location. I am in Nova Scotia, Canada for instance, and would be interested to know how many other Canadians might be on the waiting list. Otherwise, it seems like a great site with lots to see and lots of interest from interesting and like minded people. Thanks!

Hi and welcome from Oregon, USA, Andrew. I know of at least 2 and possibly 3 other members in Canada but I was unaware that EM was taking Canadian reservations at this time. I don't think they have reservations but are interested. If you have a reservation I suspect all you have to do is complete the survey in the Reservation map and survey thread and goofyone will add a marker for your location to the map. If you are all in for $1,000 you will get your reservation number the end of this month. Jambe will then add your name to the spreadsheet he developed and you can sort on that I believe. I don't feel like I have been very helpful but I love the idea of having someone in Nova Scotia with an Elio. I would love to visit there sometime with my Elio. Z

been off the site for awhile, have a heap of alerts, how can I clear them??

Thanks, for sure. I just got my shirts from "our store". But, (there is always a but) the color is ALL wrong, I don't want "it" to be green; the door is on the wrong side; there is no sign of a rearview camera; who knows where the gas cap is; "it" not only doesn't have the fenders that "it" should, "it" doesn't have ANY fenders, and I'll bet that "it" has a shoddy interior too.

I must be simple minded, gullible and a downright dim-wit to have "pre-paid" one cent for these (a pig in a poke I tell you) but, for some totally unreasonable reason, I still want them. I'm such an idiot, I will gladly, proudly wear these rascals out. Hell, I'm such a moron I still want that stupid, POS, tripod of a car.

Sorry ' bout the rant, I was just tryin' to fit in (!). The quality of the shirts far exceeds the cost. But really, I don't want green. Well maybe if it was BRG, but only in honor of Wheaters. (Blimey [sic])

Steve, I would like to be able to site search the domain names of links posted by anyone and mass clean as spam... Since most of our spam points to just two domains.

Others have requested a "history" page, tracking updates for every announced change. I would suggest something far simpler, with a different purpose. Many forums have a FAQ header. This would be especially useful for newbies, and even those of us who forget fact from speculation. It would be a tabular update of what we know about the Elio; only info from the Elio Motors site or Paul Elio's responses to interviewers' questions, or factory Facebook responses, or answers to questions by the Elio team while on tour. It could either be maintained by you, or in the Wikipedia model, updated by the membership (with an appropriate disclaimer). Only the latest info would be noted.

The key is to have a quick, accurate summary of what we know. This can include production, funding, options, distribution, service, etc. It's entirely likely that it could be the most referred to, and thread referenced, page in the Forum.

Can something be done about the automatic capitalization of post titles?
It's really bugging me that the first letter of each string is capitalized, but only the first letter is allowed to be capitalized.
Abbreviations like ATVM become Atvm.
Any time a non-letter is used to start a string, no other part of that string can have a capital: 'Peak Oil' becomes 'peak Oil'

One way I get around the capitaliztion of all letters is simply to space in between each letter. ATVM becomes A T V M. You might try the same with the non-letter issue. :-) Z
