I'm pretty sure that they'll have the actual physical engine on display, not running in a prototype. Bench testing first, dyno second, endurance testing third. They need those numbers to bolster the ATVM loan guarantee application. Paul did state that they plan to start dynamometer testing on 11/15, and we've heard that same date mentioned elsewhere.

It is the nature of journalists to be sloppy. They like to amp things up, build drama in their work, sometimes (often) at the expense of the facts. They aren't scientists, or historians, or even lawyers. So lack of precision is built-in to their trade. And here we are, hanging on their every word. Yeah, they've already told us they were planning on showing the engine soon.
I think I remember them saying that they've spun it via external force.
I agree that we should look for an assembled engine on Halloween.
But having it sitting in, or along side of, a P5 or E? Not so much.

Not to be Capt. Obvious, but I don't think we should decipher the miscommunication between what we've read in the town hall meetings, on podcasts, and heard from the tour people in the past days. Just stick your head in the sand and wait it out till Friday and our questions will be answered.

You are correct Jerome did confirm this was all a mistake and the P4 will be at SEMA.

I have not had a chance to listen to the interview yet as I happened to be in Birmingham today visiting the with the tour team again and I actually had no idea this whole interview and controversy had even come up on here and on Facebook until Jerome himself mentioned it as we were chatting.
