I was thinking it might be cool if someone made a trailer like they do for motorcylces so you could actually take the Elio on trips. What do you all think?

A good idea in theory, would have to see the final vehicle up close to know how practical it would be.

Yeah, I wish I had thought to look at it when I saw the Elio here in Atlanta. I'm sure there has to be a way to do it.

They make a bracket that fits onto my kfx700 so maybe they can come out with something to bolt on to the rear swing arm .

I sent them an email when I first reserved one and they told me there would be a luggage trailer available.

This would be an easy item to add....just a hitch welded or bolted to the frame behind the rear wheel, so that the wheel can still be removed for flat repairs, and get any motorcycle trailer from the many manufacturers out there, and hook that baby up for some long distance cruisin' and campin'.....Rick in Vacaville, Ca.

I had asked them about a hitch before I put in my order...they told me that there would be an option for a hitch -- I am hoping someone makes a trailer that looks like the elio, or matches it in some way.
