Totally Off Topic....

Over the years I've joined several forums devoted to various topics that were of interest to me. This forum is the only one I'm currently active on and I'll tell you the reason.

In my experience forums are a platform for spineless weenies to shoot off their mouth about things they know nothing about and do it with impunity. They hide behind a user name and spew out vial insults and even downright lies. Someone says something they don't like, they use the forum to "get even".... you get the idea.

Not this forum! In the months I been a member I've never seen any of that type of behavior. Members may disagree but they do it in a civil and friendly way. So, here's a tip-o-the-hat to the moderators and all the members of this forum. You're a great bunch of guys.

I have belonged to two others - geometro and motorbikes.
Both had the know-it-alls who would not even let me add what I learned getting an auto technology degree without being attacked! I like it here.

With that said the posters on Elio's Facebook aren't hiding behind a user name, so they don't seem to be anonymous views.

Overall, this is a very respectful group of hopeful future Elio Owners with differing views, even though I have been called a troll on a couple of occasions. I dislike name calling.

I agree with that it's a great bunch and hats off to the Moderators!

I concur with the above. I try to do my part when offering my "expertise" by limiting what I say to what I actually know when it comes to my work with GM and how it applies to Elio. Now, I do have opinions but I try to make sure I am clear when I am guessing or predicting. Anyway, we do have a nice forum here and I hope it stays that way.

If you like butter so much you eat it by the stick, it should be rolled in sugar as an important first step. A simple recipe. Wait, feel free to move this to the food/recipe thread.
