Great new, news release for the 100 pre production Elio !:DI like the idea of Rousch (engineering) being able to review these first 100 pre production Fleet Elio (slated for the end of this year) ! :D I understand allow the engineering (Rousch) time to evaluate these 100 Elio models that will go to fleet owners and as necessary, corrective/improvements. Then add those improvements/enhancement or corrective measures into the production steps for the Elio production models! I like that concept and I can wait!:D Benefits me and my Elio. :D
Thank you Paul Elio and team Elio! 84mpg (hwy) and at $6,800.00 ! :D
I also received an alert via Eliowners about Elio stickers in the store link up-top(thank you for the Alert). I went to the store (located up top) and purchased two sets of three Elio stickers! Works for me and thank you for the alert! 3-Eliowners stickers @ $2.00 includes shipping. :D
Best regards to my Elio and Eliowners! :D

With this new, news release we are getting closer than ever to production! Very nice!:D

Positivity overload.;)

That level of Positivity should be reserved for the funding secured announcement that makes all the forward thinking announcements possible.

I'm still waiting on E Build news and photos to be assured of the scheduled E build phase has started. They may still be on track, but only in the design/engineering freeze stage of the E Building schedule.

I'm starting to think I should contact Elio to say I should get an Elio to test it out. I drive 700+ mi a week (that's only Mon-Fri too) and if I had my Elio, I'd probably drive it more. Heck, I might even quit my job if I could test is all over the country. I'd of course make this sacrifice for everyone. :p

Well, it wouldn't be hard to rack up 500 mi per day and it isn't like it would cost that much to drive that far either. Driving 1,000 mi is doable, but not day in and day out. I don't think I'd be able to drive like a OTR trucker.

I agree. Two day delivery is more realistic. Suppose someone orders a vehicle at 9:00 PM , assuming the stores stay open that late. This is not much time to get the vehicles modified and on the transports and delivered.
An hour to modify the car (60 one minute stations would be overkill but I'll use it for emphasis. 15 four minute stations would make more sense and still be slow) anyway, back on point, One hour to do one car, an hour to load and 13 hours to deliver means it would be at the store at noon. Easy peasy.

Two cars would take one hour and one minute, 60 cars would take one hour and 60 minutes, etc...
