How Easy Can Driver Get In And Out Of The Elio?

I used the Search function to try to find an answer to this question but I was not able to search for the exact phrase so my search returned all post with words like "in" "out" "getting" so I could not find what I was looking for.

So I was wondering if anyone that was present at any of the Elio Shows and Presentations and were able to get into the car and sit on the driver's seat could indicate how easy or difficult they found it to do so and also how easy it was to exit the vehicle.

Might be helpful if they could offer a reference with ither vehicles they have driven or tested.

Thanks in advance

Ya I was able to get in and out of the P3,P4, and the P5 just as easy as I could my gmc Sonoma or my wife's Kia. I think the ground clearance is 5.75" and the seat ( made by Lear) is similar to that in a mustang. In and out no problem. Same as most cars on the market.

I had no problem in the P5 and I'm disabled. However; I would prefer a handle to using the door frame for assist.

I sat in the P4 and was surprised by how "not small" the Elio is. It is roughly the same wheelbase as an Accord...just half as wide. Good interior space. :)

My grandparents swear by the "car cane" style handles: https://www.amazon.com/Stander-HandyBar-Automotive-Emergency-Guarantee/dp/B000GUKKMW/

The sample picture even has it in use on the E1A Elio:

(LOL, I know it is not an Elio, just wishful thinking)

As you see from my avatar, I drive a 1990 Geo Metro. I am all in for $1000 with number 6014 and plan to replace the Geo with the Elio. (which I learned about from the Geo Metro forum! - before they started mistreating people - lol) The Geo is low to the ground which makes it hard to rise up and get out of. I can hardly wait to get the Elio!

This has been discussed several times. Most everyone is happy with the seat height and the extra large door. I would not reserve a number until Elio came to Knoxville and i got to try it out. Placed my order for spot in line that day.
