I think you will find most of the young ones on Face Book. This is a much easier forum for us seasoned citizens to navigate. JMO
Not that old, but I remember my mom and dad, planning vacations, and figuring out when/where to buy gas. 1971 Plymouth Valiant, slant 6, 4 door, NO AC!! Some of the best times I had as a child, honestly.

I'd bet that most young people aren't established well financially and while this car may make sense for an individual, it makes no sense for a couple as their only car if they aren't well off enough to have separate vehicles. You wouldn't be able to haul the wife and as much as a house plant back from the store.

Agree on the married point. My son drives to school 1hr each way. This would have paid for all 4 years of books.JMO

JMO. I think, for the young(unmarried), there are more + niches than -

In that case, it makes absolute sense. For someone who is just starting out (young) and living in his/her own place, I can definitely see the need to be able to haul more stuff... IKEA desks/ bookcases, wife, kid... I just meant to say that it is much more likely that those of us who are past our youngest driving days have more disposable income and can afford to let a car sit while driving another. But, yeah, I would have loved to have saved the gas money back in the day when I had a 30 minute drive to college (in my '65 Mustang with it's 351W). Of course, gas was less than $1/gallon...

I hear you. He stayed down there his first year. We took all of his stuff in the Astro van. As for moving, I taught all my kids to adapt and overcome. Ask a friend.:)

I know I wouldn't have bought the Elio a decade ago when I graduated from college, I was all about high speed and acceleration at the time. I didn't care at all about MPG until I hit 30.
