In an accident, who is at fault? Would you even have to have insurance?

Not for me though. I like to drive. But, I can see where it would be nice to be able to take a nap during a trip.

Sure insurance will still be required, possibly at a slightly discounted rate, and it will also be jacked up on those who drive "manually" operated cars. You don't this the insurance industry will stand for being made irrellevant do you? Its a win-win for them, and a lose-lose for us.

I am at a "Yes" for this, but NOT as an early adopter. I love the idea of being able to do something else while sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic on my morning and afternoon commute. And when I need to have some fun on the weekends, then I take my bike or manual-drive fun car out in the country. You know, the whole "and car" mentality? ;)

I love driving, but consider city commuting more like going to the dentist. Necessary, but not fun.

They've been talking about this for years. I'd have to see it to believe it! (Where's my flying car? My personal robot)?
As they say "Show me"!!
Someday, you may see personal personal robots. Or your children might. I recall the days when personal computers were the stuff of science-fiction.

Flying cars? Those are already available to anyone with lots of money and a pilot's license. ;)
