An undereducated thought here -- do torque-y engines like truck engines (and the Elio) have lower octane requirements when turbocharged, thus permitting regular fuel? One of you gear heads will be able to answer this, I'm sure. Either way, as my signature has said since I signed up, I absolutely do want the turbo version, and will retrofit if need be to get it!
