Correct me if I'm wrong on this...
She was short on funds for the upgrade to 1K close to the bonus deadline and...
I believe that friends and family online and offline pulled the rest of it together for her.

In the early days of this website Zelio was like a mother hen. She kept us mostly inline. I think about those times and her a lot these days. I'm sure she would be passing on some wisdom to help us through this long delay.

There will be a special place on my Elio for a simple painted Z. I look forward to driving her spirit around our country . I will alway travel with a copilot.

Z even said if she was to die before it came out she wanted the company to have the money to help with the project. I still see her post when I look at some threads, and reminds me of the spirit and dedication she had for the project.

I too see her posts as I read through many of the threads. It is amazing to me how positive she was throughout the entire forum, even with the controversial Elgin dash! She had a unique view of things and was level headed with common sense view points. I can tell that she is missed by many.

Reminded me that Z's and my Elios would be coming off the line the same day. I could've possibly met her in person. I'm #5971. :(

Looks like I've got a year to come up with a 'worthy' dash mounted "Z" badge.
Speaking of a Z badge, I wonder how many people would want one if they were available.
Say at $4 or $5 shipping included maybe 2.5" tall and 2" wide and self adhesive back.
Just wondering if there would be 40 or 50 people.
Something to think about

Quick and dirty on Designspark (CAD software for 3D printing). It's about 2.5" dia. and 1/8" thick. One's just the badge. The other's with a resin fill (whatever color). It got me thinking since I've only got white nylon and green PLA, that a bronze fill filament which can be slightly 'polished' to look like real bronze would be perfect for the printed part. It's a simple design, but I think she'd like it.
