The more the merrier, I say, but that old bugaboo cost comes into play with every one of them. Even if it's only $.75.
Long long time ago in a place far away I sat in on a planning meeting at Ford; they were arguing about the price of 2 different washers for a new model of car. One would fit more places, but was larger than spec but was considered an acceptable variance (it was sloppy on the bolt).
The difference? The one that would fit more places was more expensive; that was the argument in this meeting.
How much more? The washer that was correct was 1/4 of a cent, the washer that fit more things was 1/3 of a cent.
Wait 1/4 of a cent vs. 1/3 of a cent? What's the big deal? 500 million of them. Even the fractions of a cent add up when you get into volume.

The arm mount sticks through the opening for the radio. A tablet and traditional stereo are mutually exclusive. The place to mount the stereo is already used by the mounting arm.

One of the reasons car companies like to do highly detailed marketing studies and focus groups is that there is a very definite point at which adding features increases sales and another point at which adding them does not increase sales. Of course adding features always has to your cost. So the art is finding out whether you really need to have feature X and is it worth the cost. Elio of course cannot afford such studies. Likewise their cost to target for the car is very specific. So whether they can add any extra power outlets has to be dealt with in terms of will it sell cars.

You know what we need? We need a page like Wikipedia, where we can list all the known, knowns, the known unknowns, the unknown knowns, and the unknown unknowns.
We could make a suggestion to a moderator of something with a source for the fact. The moderator would confirm, or not, and add the fact to the appropriate list.

Maybe just update the Wikipedia page? It has some notably wrong details (such as stating that the Elio has undergone crash testing already). Outside of that, it's free and (relatively) easy to start a Wikia page.

I nominate you !!! For Wikia page creator :D

I'm not sure if I could handle that kind of responsibility. (Translation: I don't wanna do all that work!)

Actually I might be interested in starting such a page, but I'm not going to have any time to even consider it until sometime in February at the earliest. Busy-busy-busy schedule the next few weeks.
