Hey Comptrex................sorry, but still haven't gotten around to taking a pic of my PT709 with CC laser......I "will" though :)

Here's one you might like:

Very nice. Thanks for the post.
I ended up ordering a laser site. I like it a lot, though haven't been able to shoot it much.
It will be interesting once I get used to it, to see if I stop 'aiming' and simply follow the bouncing red dot.

I'm happy to let folks know that a new Henry Rifle Forum ( <link ) is up and running .... I'm told that the old one is back up without any explanation as to why it went off the air again .... the new one in the link was started and is owned by two of the very knowledgeable members .... it also has direct factory support from Henry .... anyone interested in Henry Rifles or similar discussions is welcome .... I suspect you will recognize one of the new forum's moderators ..

Got a new one guys. .40 cal. Carbine with front grip, flashlight, laser site, and muzzle brake. A pure range toy, and can't wait to get it out there.

I don't know if anyone in this group uses gun mounted flashlights, or is even interested; but since this is all gun related I get these emailed to me once a week with the specials. What they sell is some of the best I've ever used, and the pricing is good.
I did pick up a couple of the Nitecore EC20 lights when they were on sale, and these are BRIGHT 960 lumens at the top, down to 5 lumen and the night light setting.

my wife is scheduled to attend NC's consealed carry class in mid May and for a good while we've been looking for a pistol with which she felt comfortable .... earlier today that search came to an end when she purchased a Smith J-Frame with a Crimson Trace Lazer Sight --- .... its chambered in 38 Special +P, the switch to turn on/off the Lazer is built into a finger groove, and the battery on/off switch is in the bottom of the grip .... she hopes to be able to get it out on a range next week while we are in Missouri
