I have not had anything to really crow about with my Ravens. BUT we got the 1st win against the Steelers (our season super bowl matchups) and arguably one of the nastiest rivalries in the modern NFL. Always a close game 7 points or less.

Finally beat the Bengals with a trick play after 5 tries. SB47 anyone but executed better. Bring on the Dolphins :D.

Yeah... My Falcons have cooled off a little. Luckily, they are still winning some games. With Tampa Bay breathing down our neck, we really need to win this next one against the Chiefs. The last 4 games of the season are against teams with losing records and they won't have a lot to play for. Well, that last game against New Orleans will be something. We always play each other rough.

Just because the Saints and Panthers don't have a winning record, doesn't meant they will try to make your (falcons) life hell. Gotta remember, the Saints and Falcons are 2 games apart with 5 to go, but since they play each other, the Saints only need to gain 1 game before then. If they beat the Falcons in the last game, then they take the division. That division is very interesting to watch. I really have no idea who will win it. I'd like to see the Saints because Brees has to carry them. Nobody from the AFC South will win it all though.

The AFC south is interesting especially if the Titans can make it. They are slowly becoming better. That division is a toss up between 3 times. Again, none of them are great.

AFC West has 3 really good teams, but it seems clear that the Raiders are the best. They have been getting better every year and Carr is great. I think they just need a little more to win it all, but they are definitely a good team.

I haven't seen much football lately though. I'm kind of getting bored with it all. Too many flags, too much politics, the commentators completely suck, the refs always seem to have a horrible call at the end of the game. When it comes to some reviews, it drives me nuts when they say the refs don't have a certain
camera view that we can see on tv. I don't even know how that works. Watching undisciplined players drives me nuts. For example, they get tackled in bounds when they could have easily went out of bounds to kill the clock, or not wrapping up tackles. (I could go on and on. I would snap if I saw that as a coach.)

The one reason a lot of teams have a really weak side; be it Defense, or Offence, or kickers or any specific position is because of salary cap.
Seattle's O-Line is bad this year because we had to let a lot of really good people go because we couldn't give the money they were asking for and stay under the cap. Same with Brees; he's getting how many million this year? Along with the veterans that are getting multi millions. It all has to balance out somewhere. You don't pay the good guys, they're outta there to find someone that will.

Same thing happened to the Bungles.

Ty, good luck to your Falcons this weekend hosting my Chiefs. Should be a great game!

Other good games on the schedule this weekend: Det @ New Orleans, the Saints are favored big time, but I think the Lions can beat 'em. Houston at Green Bay, both teams playing for their playoff chances. Miami at Baltimore should be a good one. Buffalo at Oakland "could" be a good one... Raiders have a lot of injuries. Giants go to Pittsburgh, Steelers favored big time. Tampa goes to San Diego, the Chargers are favored for some reason. The Bucs have been playing very well lately, not sure what SD has that might beat Tampa.

Though my wife wouldn't like it (she's a Saints fan ... and Cowboys fan... Shreveport is closer to Dallas than New Orleans so it makes a tiny bit of sense), I'm pulling for the Lions.. and the Chargers, of course. Your Chiefs have a pretty darn good pass defense so this could get interesting. The hope I have at every game is that I won't be embarrassed with how the Falcons play. They've been holding their own for the most part so far. Falcons defense is missing a major player so KC should be able to score a little more handily. We'll see. Hopefully, it will be a great game to watch though!

Don't forget us out here on the outskirts of the country; we have to play Fig Newton and his clowns err Panthers.
They have never played in Seattle before; can't wait for Fig to meet the 12th man.
And it's supposed to be in the 40's and raining, oh boy, a nice sloppy field for him to be face down in. :thumb:
I can see it now, he'll get up and look like this  in the first quarter.
