Am I The Only Person Who Likes The Elgin Dash?

If EM wasn't going to dump the Elgin gauges, why would Jermaine make the effort to say they would? Can someone explain the motivation for having an EM representative be misleading about something as trivial as the type of speedo/tach gauges to be used in the production Elio? How could it make any sense to do that?
Jermaine may have meant that the Elgin dash was gone from the E series. We can't know for sure unless something official comes out.

All Elio has done is tweaked an old dead archaic instrument panel style and reanimated it. Sort of like a zombie...:D

Yes, it's Paul Elio's tribute to his Dad; his dad wore a watch like that and Paul said it reminded him of the happy times he had with his father.

So it is correct that I said that; but I am simply relaying information that was already known.

I may be wrong but, I thought Pauls dad actually had a hand in the design of the elgin watches.....?
