I had the same problem when looking for rain-guards for my G1. No one made them. I made a cardboard template of the upper door
arc on the G1, went to a Honda used car dealer and tried the template on various models on the lot. Found out that a "91"' civic was almost perfect. Bought a set for that model, modified slightly and they look original.
15 years later and there are still no original rain-guards made for the G1.

WE WILL OVERCOME.

Smart ! :clap2:

For those picking the $400 enhanced stereo upgrade, what about it are you wanting over the base unit? Is it the ability to remove it and use it as a portable boombox? They said previously that the base radio would have bluetooth, USB, and aux in. I was mainly hoping for bluetooth and USB so the base unit should work okay, but will probably end up getting an aftermarket headunit with more power to push the upgraded speakers.

I read at one time the factory speakers will be 3-1/2'' mounted in the upper dash. At that size, don't expect much audio excellence. You can upgrade the 3-1/2'' from about any online retailer, but maybe some 6'' - 6-1/2'' shallow mount speakers in the door panels will be a better option. I have some experience with 3'' speakers. My father's 88 Toyota truck had them. I put in a Sony high power deck with Pioneer 3'' (factory size) full range speakers, and it still sounded like crap. I love 6''X9'' speakers myself for decent, not awesome audio, but don't expect much from a 3-1/2'' speaker. There's just not enough "meat" there to cover full range audio, even if you upgrade. Been there, done that.:D

Well darn, they said they were talking about it, looks like the NO side won. Bummer indeed.
Yea, I know. When I asked at the Greenwood show last year, I was told paddles would be an option!
Shows even when you get it from the horse's mouth... it may not be right!
We won't know options for sure until it's all over !
