Not looking for a date, really, just wondering what my SIL is. Do you already know yours?
Ken, I've had an SRK reservation for some time, but Arcimoto is not issuing numbers. I ass.u.me deliveries will be based on the reservation dates in the order received. Mark's reply on Facebook was that they want to run a few units through the assembly line in the new production facility to verify the production rate to determine a more accurate reservationist delivery schedule to avoid any false expectations.

YEAR IN REVIEW:
I am happy to see progress I made a reservation back in April and hadn't heard anything from them since

Thumbs up! I agree with Elio Amazed in that both the SRK and Solo will be manufactured and delivered this year based on tangible progress reporting and smart business model to start limited production and ramping production to meet demand based on market acceptance of three wheelers in general.

That's the key bit. Not looking for a date, but a number. Maybe it gives away how little interest there is in this platform. I mean, if I found out I was #57 I'd be like "HOLY CRAP! :D"... but then I would be like "Only 56 people so far? Holy crap."

I just stumbled across a company that has been producing electric scooters similar to the arcimoto in range and capabilities with the exception of the enclosure. They even have a tilting trike version. Prices range from under $3k to $13k

I like this one. They have trike vehicles.

Perhaps start a separate thread on this vehicle?

While not giving you your individual number, this Jan. 5th article may give you some perspective.

"Over 1,100 people have already placed reservations with a $100 deposit."
"They could still have to wait for a little while since even though Arcrimoto aims to start production this year, it only plans to produce about 100 units."
"They plan to ramp up production in 2018."

Be advised that accuracy isn't guaranteed in these articles.
The best answer would come from contacting Arcimoto.

Maybe there should be a separate thread.

Speaking of drift trikes, a project on this year's to-do list is to build a gas or electric drift trike for fooling around the neighborhood. Powered since it is pretty flat around here. I am using the front half of a girl's 20" BMX bike and welding together a rear frame. Should be a hoot.
