Help From Trump??

Is there any chance of Trump helping Elio getting the loan they need?

There's a chance, but there's no way to know at this point if the chance is 5%, 20%, or higher.

I called my buddy Donald tonight and he told me he'd approve the ATVM if the Hollywood Celebs started love'n him.
I told him I did, but I don't think that's good enough.

Heck, I went so far as to donate $20 to Trump while leaving a message. Sent a short note to his son-in-law.

Standard response, none.

I think he will ignore or just over look anyone contacting him in regards to Elio. He probably has tons of ppl asking for money for various jobs.

I'd rather see someone in his family buy the company and run it themselves.

This past week it seems that every day there was something in the news about president Trump doing something to help the American auto industry. Every day I hoped to hear Elio mentioned and every day I've been disappointed. Might be too soon, maybe next week.

He has too many fish to fry and looking to do the big ones first. 1500 jobs created immediately by a simple phone call might sound good but at this point, he's got to take care of the current debacles he's created. This Mexico thing is not going away anytime soon and you know Canada will be next. After that, China. Those will bring in tons of jobs and factories built (according to him) and he needs to get something accomplished in his first 100 days to show he's right. Plus you need to remember, there are others out there in various industries that are on his case and are saying the same thing here. One simple phone call will create X amount of jobs. Elio is just one of many in that predicament.

no problem with CIVIL political commentary so long as it is directly related to EM .... unfortunately, history shows we have a few folks who have problems with the CIVIL part (courtesy and politeness) .... if/when that happens, the conversation will end
