We are just trying to find a place for them, they need there own place. Not whining just want to help them (out) of our forums.

I've been here since the beginning of this forum. I was a moderator until I stood up for those who voiced a different opinion. I appreciate a varied view on subjects. Those who have know me for years understand I am one of the biggest supporters of this project. I just don't believe a censored forum is best for all.

So are varied views on the Elio not acceptable on this website?

From what I've read here, the idea of varied views is fine as long as it's Not Elio bashing or attacks on others. We all have our moments, that's life. But, just be aware others are reading what you post. If you bash or hate, you'll be told as much. "You scream at me. I'll scream back"! Won't be tolerated!! That's fair enough!

Thanks buckeyejake. I just read on here but do not post anymore due to the fact differing opinions on the Elio are not tolerated. I have two reservations and have been all in for years but have been kicked off this site before because I have posted dissenting onions and facts. I have a long history of the auto industry and know how much time, energy and money it takes to launch a vehicle. But posting my viewpoint has just made others mad so I do not post anymore. I know that the Elio can eventually be a success and hope to receive my two sooner than later, but until then I will just continue to keep to myself. Thanks.

I think it's a great site to visit when there is REAL news. If I see the E blog, or news articles, I jump in to get this crowd's interpretation
I support the free and open discussion as long as it's not personal, expresses the member clearly, without screaming, cursing, and our government (exception Govt news related specifically to the E.)
member's perception of "negative comments" must be posted, trolls, given enough rope can be booted by moder. and if it's someone you totally discount their imput, block 'em.
Me, I don't comment any longer on the food thread,(it seemed my comments were difficult for a member to swallow). and it was I who started the color not to be mentioned.

There should be a chart on how much negativity can be in your posts. The first year, no negative posts. The second year a little negativity and so on. When you have been with Elio as long as some, then you should be allowed a certain percentage of negativity before getting your ass chewed. Does anyone agree?

NO, If anything, I say it should depend on how active you've been, how many post you have made and how many likes you got. This will point out the sock puppets with certainty, specially the one created mid 2015.

Says the new guy, who hasn't been here when we wouldn't get an email from EM once every ... what, 3 months?
We have so much more access to EM now than we ever did before.
We should be a lot more grateful for that, but no... we get information, and some feel it's not enough and complain.
But being given a pass to complain? No.

I agree. We only get what they give us. Most here actually believe Elio will be made. It's not productive to good conversation to bash or whine because you haven't gotten yours yet. None of us have! If you're looking for a place to holler About it there are other sites to do that. Legitimate concerns can be addressed, and you will get all the info from the members here that We Have! WE don't have all the answers that's only known to those in the inner circle of Elio motors themselves.
Come chat away, just don't be bummed if those here can't answer every question. Since joining here I've gotten a lot of really good info and am now certain we will get our rides When They Are Ready! Personally I can wait for it to be done Right!!
