You could be spot on, but with thousands of road testing miles on the 20 EMV prototypes and the 4 pre-production Solo's my race to production ranking is Solo, SRK, and Elio. I heard 'rumor' that Paul and Jerome may have placed $100 refundable SRK reservation deposits while visiting Arcimoto's SRK display area following the above video shoot. Go three wheels!

Is Arcimoto the company that will have its vehicles built in China? So many I have lost track of which is which. I know the Solo is being built in BC.
Arcimoto is in the process of tooling 20,000 sf of a 70,000 sf manufacturing facility in Eugene, OR.

According to all the information available thus far...
The first 1000 Solos (The Alpha Signature Series) will have mainly North American content.
There are long-range plans underway for Solo manufacturing on several continents.

I have just returned from China, where I toured the future home of our SOLO manufacturing facilities. We will initially use these facilities for mass production of parts — and eventually for complete cars beginning later this year and into 2018. Our Canadian production facilities in Vancouver are great, but they don’t have the capacity to fulfill the growing number of orders we will need to produce in a timely fashion, or the ability to ship them around the world in a cost-effective way.

I like the part that Jerry Knoll is open to partnering with China or other countries who can help him GET THE JOB DONE! He is still bringing jobs to Canada by assembling it there which is important! I'm not really updated on EM (Eletra Meccanica) whole story but it seems like they're not seeking any funding....

They are, and have been, seeking private placement, but they've being very discrete.
They have mentioned that they're in the process of preparing to go public.
I don't have any links to confirm that but they are out there somewhere.
