You try and try to make sense for people, and it blows right over them.
There is just some people that will never get it.

Please forgive me for trying to make sense of this program to groups of people that just refuse to get it.
And go back to what you feel comfortable with.

Ekh is from Ohio. Ohio doesn't have a trike test. He was talking about the bike test. The Elio would never be able to do the tight curves required by the bike test. IIRC the bike maneuverability in Ohio requires you to do a S curve in a space about the size of a standard parking spot. So while technically the three wheelers are considered "motorcycles", and in some states you may need a motorcycle endorsement to drive a trike, you couldn't actually use a trike to take and pass a "motorcycle" endorsement. Which is what Ekh mean by the following quote, which touched off this argument...
Thank you. I took the course, and it was hard enough on a 250cc Suzuki beater ... they told me NOT to use my Burgman 640 scooter, it wouldn't fit. And they were right! So I know that the Elio wouldn't work, and as Rob said, there's no separte trike course in OH>

On top of which, Elio can't be legally sold in the state (get your Elio in KY or IN or PA or WV, and drive it home). It can be legally licensed (as a motorcycle) and driven here, but it cannot be sold in OH. Very devious deal with Tesla in 2014 which offered them 3 sales outlets, but no more for them or for any other direct sales operation like Elio, two weeks after the effective date of the law. Nasty, huh?
