Suppliers And What They Will Supply

I was going through Elio's supplier list and wasn't sure what some of them do. So, I'd like to consolidate a list here of what a supplier will be supplying Elio. Let's keep this one on track and limit discussion to simply what they supply and not get into who they should use instead or any of that. You can post what the supplier generally supplies even if we aren't certain what they are supplying Elio. We can then go back and edit posts as the information becomes more concrete. I'll start in the next post.

Listed on Elio.com as Tupy, Tupy American Foundry Corporation has facilities in Michigan and Indiana as well as Mexico. They provide wholesale rough castings in iron and steel.

What they will supply for Elio: Unknown

Kenona, or rather Kenona Industries is based in Michigan.

Kenona Industries excels in the arena of high volume precision machining, providing components to the automotive industry’s leading distributors of steering, power train, and NVH control assemblies. Hi-Lex produces window regulators, push and pull cables for: parking brakes, clutches, trunk releases, accelerators, shift lock, and cruise control.

What they will supply for Elio: Probably cables... who knows?

Yup. got it. Those that actually do have a description are fine. There are an awful lot of them that don't have a description at all and are just a name and logo. What do they supply? That's the point of this thread... researching suppliers and what they actually will supply Elio.
