What do you think plan B looks like for Elio? Plan A requires ATVM loan of 200+ million. That's what it takes to hire 1,500 workers, start full scale production, and open retail centers across the U.S. A massive undertaking no doubt. If the government rejects the loan, does Elio just vanish? Could they start on a much smaller scale?

Paul's Plan B was perhaps delivered a few weeks ago, but hidden from the public by non disclosure agreement. (liked to have been a fly on the wall).
But seems the governments Plan B, is since they are not getting any tax revenue from Elio, is to sue them.

Starting on a smaller scale would make sense, except they have guaranteed 65,000 people they will make them a $7,000 vehicle. Smaller scale would need to charge more.
The only way that could be done is if Elio went through bankruptcy, and a new entity could choose not to be obligated to the $7,000 number.

If the price were to increase from $7000, does Elio have to honor the current reservations? I would be in favor of a price increase to get my Elio.

You didn't read the agreement did you? It explicitly said they do not have to make you a vehicle, nor do you have to buy one. As for building on a smaller scale, how do you propose they do that? Expanding a facility is more expensive than using their current one.

If you look on their website, it says $7,450*, which means that is their estimate. If you locked in at $7,000 and they do end up building it, you get the $7,000 base price.
