Great idea, post how dark it gets around where you live; make sure to do before, during and after shots so we can tell the difference.

Seriously, Pacific, MO is in the path of totality. I do have a question for the "photophiles" [or whatever camera geeks call themselves]. If I just slide a solar glass lense over the camera lense will that work?

It worked when I tried it yesterday. As long as the camera focuses through the lens it should work.

I gave it a test run using a solar glass lens. Looks like it'll work good enough! I'll post some if they come out.
It's been, and it's starting back to full sun.
It's very strange how it makes you feel, being that the moon has an effect on gravity, it's just this tug in your chest.
And it throws your balance off, try walking went it's at it's height in your area, you'll see what I mean.
Parties going on all over the place, you can hear them.
And as for the parties, they got noisy for a bit, and gone.
Eclipse done, parties done also, it's back to being quiet suburbia.

Tonight they have a special on coving it from coast to coast, and this was a great time for those doing scientific work, they finally have a lot of data there is no other way to collect, except during an eclipse. Science Channel, 9:00 pm tonight.
