I'm looking forward to NMG stops and starting every day with a full charge.
I used to stop at a gas station every fourth day. Since I bought the Bolt it's been almost two months since I've been to a gas station. I don't even bother to check prices as I drive by anymore...

As a side note, My other concern is that I sometimes get a short turn around so they suggested a higher current charger for the home. That would run me an additional 1 to 2K.
Level 2 home chargers will run you about $700 if you can install it yourself. Really fancy ones with remote wi-fi monitoring and control, time-of-day charge rate control, etc., will run you another $100. If you need higher charge rates (say 60A and higher), then maybe another $150. So yeah, I could see the charger running you close to $1k, plus installation which is highly variable depending on the situation. Overall it's a very simple installation process, though. I did mine myself, in a couple hours. $600 for the 40A charger, and maybe another $75 on supplies.

Once you have the home charger, it's great. A full charge very morning.

Congratulation on your Chevy Bolt RobC! Coming from a well established car company like Chevy, it's comforting to know that dealers are everywhere if you have any problems down the road. P.s. Better add a gas stabilizer on one of your I.C.E cars so the fuel don't get stale. :D

TESLA IS PRODUCING SOMETHING. Having such a huge backlog of orders, Tesla's main problem is keeping QUALITY up as they ramp up production which WILL TAKE TIME, considering the number of vendors
Tesla relies on for parts. ONE missing part can bring assembly line to a halt. BUT, from company standpoint, Tesla has the BEST of all problems to deal with- TOO MANY ORDERS.
........with a management and production team that WILL make it work.

Hmm sounds like "Welcome to the real world of volume production"
Your assembly of parts isn't working, and where is that dealership to get it fixed?
Oh, you don't have one?

Welcome to the real world Tesla.

Sounds like it jumped up and bit HARD.
I wonder what it will do to sales?

Better include a lemon as standard equipment.

Tesla's parts sourcing issues will be resolved, vehicle deliveries will be slower than expected, reservation #s will continue to climb, and Tesla Rangers will provide service to their customers doorstep.

Oh, you don't have one?

I take my Tesla to a Service Centre, 10 min from my house. They also provide Ranger service that will fix your car in your office parking lot, or your driveway.

Tesla will continue to have a supply problem for the foreseeable future, they simply can't keep up with demand. What a problem to have.
