Again, the seller should be talking to Elio and clearing this up. All that being accomplished right now are current reservation holders just discussing this reservation. I seriously doubt someone here at this period of time will purchase this unless is was $100. Maybe Craigslist or FB marketplace would give better results.

He did, read page two. I contacted Elio as well. You can indeed sell reservations. As for his chance of selling, well I don't see the benefit to the buyer. You lose the spot in line and most likely lose the bonus.

He gets a $1000 reservation for $800. Looks like a $200 benefit even if he doesn't get the bonus.

If I do $1K today, then I pay $7200. So, this deal is $7K me bus $1K minus 50% bonus. That’s $5500. I pay $800 then I’m paying $6300 for the car and go to either 22K or 58K. From listening to you guys and the seller, the bonus is gone and I go to 65K. That means $7K minus $1K plus $800 which comes out to $6800. In the end, $400 deal.

Hello!
Thanks for your email.
Yes, you can transfer a reservation, however the place in line is lost in the process. Please find attached the reservation transfer form.
Thanks again!
Best,

This comes up every now and then. Could this info become a sticky or a FAQ ?

That would be if he locked in at $7k and IF the locked in price transfers. But if the 50% bonus does not transfer then I bet a locked in price does not either, since it was someone else who signed the binding agreement when it was still offered. If both the 50% bonus and the $7k locked in price transferred, that would not be a bad deal.

So in this case it would just be a $200 savings. He put down $1,000 and wants to sell that for $800. The new spot in line would be at the end of the current $1k SILs, so you would still not be at the very end at 65k. An okay deal for someone new who is looking to get a $1k all-in reservation, but certainly not enough to sway someone who already has one to buy another. If the OP wants to really move it he is going to want to cut it way down.

Unless:

You buy his reservation for $800 and you get the $1000 reservation. Yay, you've saved $200! But wait, there's more.

You buy a NEW reservation for $1,000 and get the still ongoing 25% match making your reservation worth $1,250 which is $50 more than buying the "used" reservation. Basically, you'd have to lose $50 to take the "used" reservation.
