Thanks, I was unable to find an interior image that showed the light. In this location, it should work.

Above the steering wheel is the visor, the roof images did not show the dome light, but there is a ‘bar’ in alignment with the B pillar that I thought was it. The description that the dome light is above the wheel is misleading. The blog should have shown your image.

I did send a copy of that picture to them, and asked about what the blog said.
When I get an answer I'll post it in here.
Have to keep them on their toes...….:becky:

"above the steering wheel" is a little vague anyway. There's a lot of wiggle room in any direction to be considered above the steering wheel. However if it is indeed above it then it won't be as bad as people think. Light does a pretty good job of spreading. My car has a single light far forward and I can still see what's in the back. There's a shadow on the floorboard but it isn't terrible.

Beside, the Elio will be easy to customize. Cargo lighting could be added I'm sure. It would be easy to tap into the same dome light and use LED bulbs in both so you will be well below the rated capacity of wiring designed for traditional bulbs.

True, I can picture a light in the side panels on both sides in the rear, with each having it's own ON/OFF switch.
And a light with a cord back in the cargo area that you can use outside of the vehicle. This way if you have a flat, you can light your working area.

My Dodge does have auto sensing, if you enable them.
Yes, you have to have it to the setting of having them on or not, and it's auto, if you set it to that position.
I leave mine in auto-sense all of the time, the problem is, if you go through a tunnel.
If you go into the tunnel, it will turn on, but not right away, soon after, but not on as soon as you go into the tunnel.
This way it avoids flashing them when you go under an overpass, that would be irritating especially to the car right in front of you.
So I can agree, DRL can be good, but I think they still have to work out a few "bugs" to have them operate the way a person "thinks" <fat chance>
The way Dodge does it with the auto lights is ok, but that system has been around a long time.

Don't confuse DRL with Auto Sensing headlights. They are not the same thing. DRL are on all the time where the sensing headlights only come on when they detect low light situations. Definitely not the same thing.
