A low per share price, does not mean the stock is a value. There are 28.54 million shares of Elio stock. At yesterday's close of $1.05, that values Elio at 31.62 million dollars. Given Elio's current predicament, would someone buy Elio Motors for $31 million?

It gets worse. I believe the shareholders may not own the entire company - that only a portion of Elio is publicly traded. Another reader may know the details.

Yeah, sorry about that. I was thinking of trust as being binary - you trust them or don't. I suppose there are degrees of trust. I trust the guy who changes my tires to get them balanced right but I wouldn't have him house sit for me.
