Sounds like a guy who is very thankful and humbled by his scrape with death.
sold out at Darlington with heavy rain falling .... per NASCAR, "Competition officials have a solid contingent of track-drying equipment on hand: 10 NASCAR Air Titans, seven jet dryers, two Elgin sweepers, one track vacuum and a buffalo blower." .... if they get the race started tonight, they are going to have to work the heck out of all of them

That's what living where I do has it's perc's, it's only 7:08 when it started.
watched every minute of it .... Happy for the 20, he held off a strong charge from the 18 who I was delighted to see take himself out of the fight for the lead .... good to see the 42 have a strong race .... best race in a while for the 48, ran in the top 10 (most of the time top 5) of the first two stages .... a late wreck where he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time really hurt his chance to make the chase
