You two are both right, there are times I think it's dead in the water, then I think how many ideas get killed off because people stop believing in an idea.
I've had many ideas shot down because I've stopped having interest; but there is just something about this one that I know it has merit and I will follow it as long as it keeps showing signs of life. It has, and there are others that feel the same way, and because of that belief I know this is going to happen, and I'm not going to give up on it. I've been here since the beginning and I plan on sticking it out till the end, because I believe it is going to happen. Don't know when, but it will happen one way or another. I'm in it for the long haul, and you can't give up. Stick with it, and until Paul says it's done, I will be here till I can't go any more.

Well said. Count me in with you. I've put money down and bought stock but none of that matters because that is in the past. The money is spent either way. I really hope this works out because it just makes so much sense. None of us can know if this will be a profitable venture for Paul but we CAN say it would be worthwhile. Sure, electric is great but efficiency is really a better measure. People love fast cars... Ferrari this, Bugatti that... I don't know anywhere I can drive 300 MPH... heck, even Bugatti says there's only one place to do it. But, they are still designing cars to go that fast. I'd much rather see a car that can function well in normal day to day driving (and have a little zip when needed) that requires very little if any external power source. THAT will be truly the more important engineering feat. THAT is what will make the biggest, long-term impact. Imagine eliminating any fuel purchases for a home or vehicle. Elio is on the right track - get 84 MPG this time, then 84 MPGe next time... then get 140MPGe... then unlimited MPGe (solar producing enough power to charge while driving)... it's a path. Elio is on the path (or just off to the side right now). It'll be interesting in the next few years, you just watch.
