I enjoyed it like I enjoyed the recent iRacing for Sebring, and now Indycar and Formula 1 have announced that they will also have iRacing events as well I look forward to those. Having driven a couple of events in simulators of some people I know, it's the closest you can get without being in a real car. I have run my own Miata in track day events about a dozen times at Laguna Seca, Chuckwalla Valley, Arizona Motorsports Park, Wild Horse Pass (they have four different tracks) and Indie Motorsports Ranch, the only thing missing from iRacing is the butt dyno feel. You don't really get the feel of acceleration, braking, and the lateral G's that you get in the corners, the rest is really spot on in suspension set up/tire wear/and damage if you hit someone.

Did you see Denny Hamlin's setup, wild, and no one knows how much it cost? Hmmmmmm
And you could tell Jimmy Johnson's setup was for F1 or IndyCar his legs were pretty elevated, wonder what he's practicing for?
And Shrub, hahahahahahaha he got bumped out early, couldn't happen to a nicer jerk.

Denny Hamlin's is about $10k. Jimmy Johnson said during a caution period that he set his up for open wheel, Indycar, and IMSA sportscar/prototype as those are areas he is going to in 2021 and 2022. Yeah Kyle Busch was three laps down at some point, and while I'm not a fan of him, it shows that if you screw up in the sim, it's the same as if you screw up in reality. IRacing is a good test bed for drivers, it was pointed out that Bobby Labonte had spent close to a 1000 laps in the sim in the last week as well as 400 laps in one session, Bobby has been doing other forms of racing around the globe in the last few years and has stated that the sim has done wonders for him so he can understand the tracks he has raced on. It's a great way to learn a track before you race there.

FOX Sports has announced it will broadcast all remaining rounds of the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series.

Entitled FOX NASCAR iRACING, the races will be simulcast on the FOX broadcast network (where available and subject to change), FOX Sports 1, and the FOX Sports app. In Canada, races will be available through FOX Sports Racing.

Drivers will compete this weekend at 1 p.m. ET on virtual Texas Motor Speedway. Clint Bowyer will also continue to be a part of the broadcast by providing insight as he competes in the race.

Provided things have returned to somewhat normal, the July 4th weekend for NASCAR at Indianapolis while being the Xfinity cars on the road course and the Cup cars on the oval, will now include the first ever Indycar and NASCAR event together.

The Indianapolis 500 has been postponed from May 24 to August 23 due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak. The Indianapolis Grand Prix, which normally runs prior to the 500, is now set for July 4, setting up the first-ever IndyCar/NASCAR double-header.

It marks the first time in 103 editions of the 500-mile event where the world’s largest single-day sporting event has been intentionally moved prior to its original race date.

I hate it for Kyle Larson but in this day and time he brought it onto himself :

Chip Ganassi Racing driver Kyle Larson has been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR following his use of a racial slur on a live stream during an iRacing event Sunday night.

Agreed. I think he forgot he wasn't in a race car with a helmet on where no one would hear him. Instead, he was in his house with a live microphone on.

Have to give credit to Willy T. Ribbs and Bubba Wallace reaching out to him and telling him to not let this end his career.

Willy T. Ribbs knows this situation all to well. I'm going to check out a documentary about him on Netflix called "Uppity".
