OK, this is turning into a political comment section.
Stop it, or it will have to get locked down.
Do I make myself clear?
I remember when this site used to be a lot more fun when we had optimism about the future of holding Elio Rallys in Ohio and meeting fellow owners in person like Zelio instead of reading her comments on the internet. Politics is definitely a negative subject these days. It is a crazy world we have, and finding the good stuff to talk about is getting harder it seems. Space program moving forward, a few visionary people out there still trying to make a difference around them. I am enjoying my social distancing by riding the motorcycle with all my PPE on and breathing fresh air and staying 5 car lengths away from everyone else. Working from home is tough, because it is too close to the refrigerator. Hope we can find the good stuff in our day still. Have to look a little harder.

I worked from home for 10 years, if you have that hard of a time near the Fridge, move your office away from everything.
I'm lucky, we have 3 bedrooms, my office is the middle bedroom.
No fridge, no TV, no anything that will distract you.

My office is in the basement, so I'd have to climb some stairs to get to the fridge. At times when nobody else is home and the AC/furnace is not running, it's eerily quiet. It's so quiet that back in 2011 when we had that earthquake (the one that shut down the national monument) it scared me. The house was shaking a bit. I went upstairs and that was it. I called my wife and she had no idea it happened. Actually most people I know were disappointment because they didn't feel it. Since we don't have many here in the NE, it was a big deal.

I relocated from the Midwest (South Chicago) to the Pacific NW, and I had never experienced one before.
I was in the TV room, looked up at the overhead light, and it started swinging back and forth, freaked me out, and no one else was home.
I panicked and called a friend, and wouldn't you know it, the phone line was dead, I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. Flipped TV channels around and found a news channel, gee that was a 5.1 earthquake. Found out they were frequent just not that high in the scale, 2 & 3 moves things, but no big deal.
The morning that Mt. Saint Helens popped I thought it was my roommate and his G/F, we found out later that it was the mountain that popped, so what did we do? Took a bike (motorcycle) ride down to see it, and that's a story for another time....

Is it the Coronavirus making people crazy right now? I can't believe that the very sad death of Mr George Floyd is causing all the rioting we have going on now. I think it's something else. Here is an interesting 2012 perspective about our "Human Instincts" that may be a factor:

It also explains why we had a toilet paper shortage.

Crazy people are the reason why there is a COVID epidemic and “the very sad death” of George Floyd at the knee of a police officer charged with murder and likely additional charges against the other 3 officers that stood by and watched.

Not likely any more Rick. They upped the charge on the one and charged the other three. I'm just going to say that though I understand Made in USA's connection and believe that this mayhem would not have occurred to this extent had it not been preceded by the virus, I don't think this is a good place to discuss this particular topic. There are many other places to do that. That said, a beautiful little lake town in Idaho had it's citizens armed to the teeth and sitting in front of it's shops and malls for the past few nights. Nothing happened. Imagine that. Feel free to delete if deemed appropriate.

Admittedly being too lazy to search, did any of the riots happen in Constitutional Carry states? I live part time in West Virginia and everyone is always super polite and nice. Wheeling seems like a riot contender city but I heard nothing....

Yes, crazy here too, maybe crazier with all the guns on main street. Happy it ended both nights without incident.
