The Aptera appears to be so wide it barely fits between the lines of a standard sized parking space. Also, fender/shrouds not practical in cold weather climates………ice and snow buildup.

Yeah... If I had one of those I'd be walking the length of parking lots. I won't park my truck next to other vehicles – especially in narrow parking spaces. I refuse to make it easy for someone to put a ding into my vehicles. That Aptera's fenders looks wider than my RAM. Yep, I'd have to walk a lot of parking lots with this vehicle. BEX Mongrel will be much easier to maneuver/fit between the lines and maybe I'll be able to finally park at a store's front door. ;)

All of the above plus it's way beyond "affordable" which was the premise for ELIO and now the BEX 3wheeler.

I prefer doordingless - land too. i wonder if the fenders are visible from the driver‘s seat?

I assume the MSRP will be 40% over the new vehicle startup’s ‘targeted price’ if/when they cross the production finish line. Hopefully, It’s still ‘affordable”. :)
I'm guessing it'll break 50K if they can actually sell it 3-5 years from now and that is if they can prove 1,000 mile per charge, 0-60 in 3.5 sec. claims.

Well, maybe we will see soon. It's pretty close to 2023, so a couple months and we will see production at this promised price, or we won't.

I wonder if Aptera has been through the NHTSA required motorcycle certification process. It took Arcimoto over a year, sending multiple Beta FUVs to private testing labs, and making the necessary changes on their fully certified production model. Arcimoto‘s CEO refererred to certification as a “ nightmare process”.

I would believe they are leveraging on the Autocycle definition which is tuffer engineering-wise, but maybe more straight-forward in processing.

It's a rooky-level fail if they haven't satified at least one of those by now. But, you know, that could have been one of the hold-ups they have had up to now. And maybe they are projecting production based on anticipating the conclusion of some cetification(s). -We will see on that one too.

I wonder if the extra width is for stability because of its apparent high center of gravity
