Been on the fence for a long time as I've been watching Elio from near the beginning. I finally bit the bullet around Mother's Day and just missed this last round of numbers. I'll update sig once my number is sent.

Not sure on color yet... Since Clemson U is nearby, I'm considering Creamsicle (for which, the wife is lobbying). On the other hand, I don't want to be 1 of 6 in the area with that color. Pardon me, while I climb back up on my fence. :p

Hi and welcome from Oregon, hippazoid. Congratulations for being all in all the way. I envy you. I will be upgrading my all in in July when I go to Portland to see the Elio for the first time but only to $500 this time. It will take me several months to get the additional $500 saved to upgrade the final step. I am looking forward to getting my number. You have joined a very diverse and knowledgeable group of Elio believers. I hope you enjoy the experience of exploring everything Elio as we await production and ownership of our Elios. Next year in my Elio. :-) Z

Welocome to the forum. Everything within 20 miles of Clemson is orange, you will standout too much if you get any other color. LOL. I am 99% sure I will get a creamsicle one. This is coming from a life long Gamecock fan, I graduated from U of SC many moons ago.

Welcome from East TN. Understand your color dilemma. Around here, it's orange and white. Lots of Elio answers and opinions here. Enjoy the ride, to the Elio reality.
LOL... Marshmallow is pulling a close 2nd in the color debate. Being in the Deep South, I figure white minimizes the parking lot solar oven effect. :) I've owned several white vehicles over the years and have been pleased. I really DON'T buy into the opinion that white shows dirt more than other colors. If it does, WASH YOUR VEHICLE! :p

Well, actually some of the nay-sayer posts made me a bit nervous. As a manufacturing guy for most of my life, there are some legitimate concerns. I also knew from the very beginning of the reservation system (just like everyone else), there is a huge risk putting down a non-refundable deposit. Call me a glass-half-full guy but I think we need something like this in the transportation sector. I'm not so sure it will be the industry shake-up that PE dreams of but I'm hopeful for at least a small critical mass to get them up and running long enough to build mine. :) If they do build mine, I just got a 50% return on my investment. If they don't, again... I knew the risk going in.

Welcome from the Bayou State, Louisiana, and the future birth place of the Elio!

Always happy to see new folks signing on and joining our family of Elio lovers!

Anything that we can do to help you with your loss of balance up on that fence, just ask. Someone here will have the answer for you.

But MOST of all, we ALL want that final decision to be your very own. We just want it to be an inform decision.

Again, welcome aboard!

Thanks, Music Man! Are you the one in Hammond? I used to live in BR. :) Had some friends that used to periodically play at the Red Lion there years ago, so I made a few trips to Hammond. hehe

Still have an old high school buddy in BR so I'm leaning towards factory pick-up of the Elio and stop by his place on the way back. :)
