Hey you guys,
Hello from Worcester, MA. I went all in last Thursday and my eliometer is measuring "too excited to contain." Can any of you help alleviate my obsession and tell me about how long it will take to receive my number in the production line? My husband is sick of me talking about it!

Eliometer, welcome to the forum and congratulation on joining the ever increasing number of future Elio owners. It took me 7 weeks to get my number because I just missed the cutoff. If I recall correctly, the last batch of numbers came out on May 14th so you if the trend holds you should have your number in the next 3-4 weeks. Enjoy the Elio experience with us..

Thanks for the welcome Jim! 3-4 weeks doesn't sound impossible to live through. I don't know if I'm gonna make it 15 months before production though! My heart's gonna explode with ecstasy in mere contemplation of driving this car.

Welcome to the forum, Eliometer. Just add to what Jim H said, you will get a production number now only if your reservation is 1k and non-refoundable, otherwise later 1k reservations will be placed ahead of you. Hope this did not dampen your day, sit back, relax and enjoy this informative, funny and sometimes argumentative group and unload some of the stress of waiting with the rest of us.

Hi Catia, Greycat, and ecdriver!
Although I love Maine to pieces Catia, (and it will only cost me $4 to drive there in an Elio) I'm actually from Worcester, Massachusetts. Same weather, different accent!
I did go all in with 1K Greycat. I figured it was a much better return than a bank CD...unless EM goes belly up!
Speaking of catting ecdriver, I wonder how many of my cats can go to the vet at the same time with this car? I'm guessing one-at-a-time? Anyone think they won't be able to fit their dog? And yes, I am probably a crazy cat lady and no kids knock on my door at Halloween even though I wait, like a spider with a candy bowl.

I sat in P5 about 6 times when it was in Tempe last, and about 4 times in back. I also have a cat (I am 'her' person, she owns me), you may not want to, but you could put about 6- 14in tall cat carriers back there in two stacks. And one soft carrier on the back deck. The front seat would hold them all in place nicely. - ouch, I talked about her, she woke up and is looking at me.. very sweet.

Holy crap AriLea! Really? That's way bigger than I was imagining. I guess people are right when they say that you don't realize how much room there is inside until you sit in one.
