Arcimoto announces that they are back in production. New less effort steering, cup holders, cargo box and colored vinyl. What they didn't say is the base FUV increased in price by 11.1% (from $17,900 to $19,900). There is a 90 day lead time for the 13 states that you can buy one in. Plus, no...

Existing car company means, they are looking at China to make it. Shopping around to find a contractor. Thus, it makes sense they are looking for $30M because they need to put money down to get the ball rolling.

What startup three wheelers have you driven

I was just looking for real experiences, not youtube ones. I should have been more clear.

Not street legal but just look at this: https://www.polaris.com/en-us/off-road/ranger/ Then look at the door options (these doors are removable). You have either manual or electric windows. https://www.polaris.com/en-us/shop/off-road/accessories/doors/ranger-doors/ It's not that hard for full...

I think they will offer full enclosure as the Nimbus is coming out within 7 months. They will have to look at the competition.

What startup three wheelers have you driven

I am curious as this is a three wheeler forum. Thus, what have you driven in the real world. For me: Polaris Slingshot Vanderhall Can-AM

I have test driven one and rented one of them on two occasions (for a nice drive along the road that goes by the Delaware River). Just like I did with a Slingshot and even a CanAm. If I need a helmet then I need to inform the highway patrol here in PA because they have never pulled me over for...

A discussion with the CEO of Arcimoto (this came across my newsfeed): https://www.caranddriver.com/features/a42387151/ev-startup-arcimoto-wants-us-all-driving-three-wheelers/ So it sounds like the certified cage design wan never designed for full doors. At this point, looks like he dodged the...

It was to show that losing money on a $14K kit, lets everyone show that a $9,800 Nimbus is probably not realistic either.

Please look at the side views. Technically you could get two in it but you'll need to be really small to fit in the back. I suggest you watch the guru of three wheelers as you'll see. There's about 2" of rear legroom. You need to ride spread leg and keep the door open (like in the pic you showed).

Plus they still lose money. To the tune of $1.3M for the first 9 months of 2022. Then $485K for the last 3 months from the last filing (9/30/22). So they average $144K per month of a loss for 9 months and the last 3, just shy of 162K per month. So even TMW is costing Arcimoto money. They sell at...

Nimbus does not fit your needs either. It's a one seater. Yes it has a "jump seat" but look at it and there's no way a 2nd person will be riding in it. So, it's back to the FUV and hopefully they listen to their potential customers, add a full door option and open up to all 50 states.

As for Nimbus, they are looking to pitch a series A for $30M: https://pitchbook.com/profiles/company/343761-13#overview They are a Michigan corporation: https://eintaxid.com/company/843743929-nimbus-av%2C-inc./ According to the SEC, offered securities back in 2019 ($260K)...

Not yet but I will assume that looking at his progress, he needs no help. Plus, he would rather take the funding he has and dump it in the product. That's what I'd do. Maybe great minds think alike. At least he's transparent on his project and not asking for money. You have to respect that...

Done. Mark BEX reads the forum, so he knows. I also suggest you email Nimbus and Arcimoto. This way you can consult them too on what they need to do. For example, tell Arcimoto to sell in your state and offer full doors. Tell Nimbus to offer free test drives in your town. This way, they will...

Funding is the #1 issue. Maybe they got it but until September 30th to live up to their claim. I don't have a problem with that. All I ask for are a few simple things: 1. If you are a startup, you pay me up front. 2. I don't take pay in stock. 3. Let me know up front the timeline for that...
