Great find and now we know the facts and can go from here.
I got some good news and bad news.
Good News: Elio will make $1K per car and that's a huge amount.
Bad news: The Elio has a sticker price of $5959. So locking in at $7K was a bad decision because I'll be paying less for my Elio than you...
You bring up a good point. When I seen the Elio twice and the hundreds of pics I see of people posting with the Elio, you see mostly retired people. When I hear people talk about it here, many seem to be like you. this forum is a small slice of the people that put money down on the Elio (there's...
Best part is, the markets have been fixed and those rich fat cats are ready to invest. Currently they are investing in uber expensive Pickups and SUV's. So they will be in investing soon.
Definitely. The difference is, Rivian has a number of people to answer to. Elio does not. Rivan has to convince the gas powered truck/SUV buyers in America that they have something that's worth $70-$100K. That's a big challenge. On the other hand, Rivian is not looking at selling many trucks at...
One major problem was they never let anyone drive it. The general public believes three wheelers are dangerous, thus they just walk by and that’s it. If Elio built 5 of them for test drives then the interest would have been better. They would probably feel better after getting behind the wheel...
It's never been published as to how much Elio Motors paid ESG Engineering. They did get paid in stock but as we know, it's losing ground and that stock has not been sold. If it was, then it would show up on a listing. On the other hand, how much did Elio Motors pay Roush? We have not seen...
From looking at the SEC filings, Elio had generated this in sales (total number starting from zero back in 2013) over these dates:
Sept 30, 2015 - $19M
March 31, 2016 - $22M
December 31, 2016 $27M
The total sales and marketing budget for 2016 was $7.6M. If you split the number between...
I can see why the static 65K display.
Jan 2013 - Mar 2017 - 65,000 Reservations (avg. 1,300/month over 50 months)
April 2017 - June 2018 - 65,460 Reservations (avg 33/month over 14 months)
From looking through the archives (2017)
Mar 13 - 65,198
Mar 29 - 65,239
Apr 3 - 65,264
Apr 10 - 65,286...
I can see why. The only reason to bring out the Elio is to either please current important investors or future ones. Remember we are small time investors and not important because we can't invest any more. No reason to talk to us. For Manhattan, that was for future big time investors. Midvale...
Been watching the Tour de France and they are using the Yamaha Niken as one of the support vehicles. If you want to see a three wheeler in action carving up the roads, this is it.
You have to remember. All of the three wheelers I mentioned are low volume and sold to people that just want a fun vehicle to go out on the weekend with or they live in some urban area and they use it for doing short trips. It's a limited niche vehicle, thus they don't need all of the safety...
Forget all of the others joining in. The Autocycle Safety Act (remember I'm talking about the federal one, not the individual state ones) would make it harder for three wheelers coming to the market. Good to see it never go anywhere. It would push more for safety and as we know the current three...
It was shrewd when Elio was the powerhouse in three wheelers. Times have changed and Elio could rewrite it where all of the three wheelers are included. Elio helped out those companies with the state requirements and with the Elio government affairs guy helping out FUV and the helmet thing in...
Now we need someone to pay a lobbyist to get this done as it’ll never happen without it. So could it be reworded to include Arcimoto, Solo, Vanderhall, Polaris and Sondors. Then they could pay for it since they owe Elio anyway.
Elio did spend $850K with lobbyists for things like the Autocycle Act and Ultra Efficient Vehicles. All is not lost.

It'll go back up. It's just day traders playing with the stock. They like to do this for companies that have gone into silent mode because it's easy to make a few bucks here or there. The "someone" is a computer as very little of what is happening with Elio is by people wanting to sell or buy.
You notice they didn't say, American in the USA but just human in the USA. There are 327M in the USA but that doesn't count all of the visitors, green card holders, diplomats, resident aliens and illegal aliens. It does leave out cyborgs and whatever they have in Area 51.
Dear Made in USA,
Thank you for your interest in Elio Motors. RSchneider was kind enough to fufill your request in a timely manner..
