...to production. I dislike the heavy weight of regulation by officials who are not experts in the field, but only experts in regulation. HenryFord, Orville and Wilber Wright, and a bunch of others would never have made it in todays system. Hard to say what will happen in the next few...
...engine. We became the first to do so since Nash Motors accomplished the same feat way back in 1951.
Historically Affordable
Famously, HenryFord’s Model T sold for $850 and made personal transportation affordable for the average American. $850 sounds affordable, but when adjusted for...
...the "King's English, or Australian) :-)
The series Murdoch, usually is able to tie in inventions/concepts from years ahead- this one had a race with some inventor (HenryFord) with his ICE,, and the electric car, with the industrial/petroleum corporations trying to prevent the use of electric.
...couldn't pick a more subjective topic then color. It looks much better in person (but that's just me)- I'm going with red.
and if, as per HenryFord, it came in any color you want as long as it was black- I'd take any of them in a heartbeat.
There were folks here who preferred the absence of...
Ford didn't name a car after "his son". Ford Motor Company named the vehicle after henryFord's son, ignoring the objections of the Ford family, and, in particular, Edsel ford's son.

"Ford Motor Company eventually decided on the name "Edsel", in honor of...
...income consumer, even lower middle income, get to be the first on the road with this sort of innovation? If Paul Elio succeeds, he won't be the next Elon Musk. He'll be the next HenryFord, and middle America will flock to his car. It's been a hell of a long time since we've had a new HenryFord.
Let's start from the top........
BPVs (Battery Powered Vehicles) are not particularly new as far as technology.
HenryFord's wife drove a Baker Electric. Lead Acid rather than Lithium, but batterys.
Different controller, does the same job. Some refinements, but the same basic technology.

...companies receive.
As far as BPVs, they are a good and valid, if overpriced, form of transportation and have been for over 100 years. Even HenryFord's wife drove a BPV (a Baker Electric). And there were charging points around New York City. They got about 100 miles on a charge.
As far as the...
HenryFords original model T was designed to run on alcohol. John D Rockefeller the owner of Standard Oil wanted to sell gasoline (a byproduct of his kerosene lamp fuel) so he was a BIG proponent of prohibition and spent a substantial sum to get legislation passed to prohibit the distillation of...
Right! The sound deaden/enhancing ear buds! That's the episode, but it's still not on their website yet. Give it a week or so and we'll be able to link directly to the video.
Just watched and recorded on to my laptop per usual, can't figure out how to get it here to the forum so go to: Innovation Nation Episodes - The HenryFord Besides my Elio I want a pair of those ear buds.: Product
Yep. I looked though season 2 and didn't see the episode. I'm pretty sure there was a segment on algae bio-diesel and "shade balls" that allegedly slow down the evaporation of water supply reservoirs. It was Paul showing off the new engine.
HenryFord only built 4 cylinder and 8 cylinder cars as he didn't believe you could equally divide 360 degrees by 6. Ford never built a 6 cylinder engine until after Henry was gone.
