Lets put it this way....... If yours ever breaks down or malfunctions you can contact me for a "like new" replacement because the one in my Elio will be replaced with something (almost anything) as soon as possible.:painkiller:

IF this happens, and IF they commit to the service partner plans with EM, it should provide a huge boost for potential Elio buyers knowing there would be more, and potentially closer, service locations.:clap2:
I am at 8. Wish I could put up more $$ than I have but just can't. I am equally excited about hearing the comments from you $1000 all in folks once you receive your Elio while I'm still waiting. Your comments may have some influence on how I order mine with options.
The body panels are made from fiberglass reinforced SMC plastic composite, similar to the composite front and back bumpers on new cars and what Corvettes body panels are made from (so I am told). My guess is they are press molded somehow.:noidea:
Maybe with all the money that will be saved on his/her Elio, they can add a sunroom to their house.:rolleyes:
